Wills (not his real name) feels i am too blase about what people know and do not know about living in the NY Soveriegn. Apparently there is a whole world out there that assume Sovereign is something that it is not. He also feels I should explain a bit about certain laws and other imperatives. What Wills wants, Wills get... Bastard.
First and foremost, I must say Wills is not semi-famous, he is selectively renowned.
Secondly, in many countries, including NUSA and SUSA, Sticky funky gum is illegal to buy and sell. But then so are other things like tobacco, and stimulants with too much caffeine. Here in Sovereign, we can kill ourselves if we want, with anything we ingest, but if its in smoke format it is illegal.
Lastly, transport. From the outer regions (formerly known as boroughs) we can get to Sovereign proper by light rail, boat, bridges. The islands are smaller but not by much. we have storm walls and watch the tides. We don't have a gondola system. New York didn't turn into Venice and we were able to retain some of the underground systems.
With that said, my coworker got a case of the shakes so bad that the manager noticed. He's on his way to forced vacation and breath tests for the rest of his working career. So, victory for my mundane ass.
